Shining Cool

Standing on stage before an audience of one,
Thinking of all the things I have done.
Happy to be the smiling pretty me,
Yet feeling like there is more to see.

So here I am, looking loving as a lamb,
Dancing on a stool as the jester fool.
For why not act as the star in school,
Shining in the bright lights, being so cool.

Playing the role with joy and flair,
Expressing myself without a care.
In the spotlight, my truth reveals,
A performer’s heart, a spiritual zeal.

In this moment, I fit in place,
Oozing charm and beautifully grace.
For life is a stage, a grand play,
Where I wake to shine every day.
