Grinning and Bearing

 

For grinning and bearing,

Where doing is everything.

I post a look at you,

That runs amok in all to view.

From here I stand with handles in hand,

Ready upon trigger for all upon plane.

Acting like anything yet sane,

Dominating each moment, feeling brand new.

In the act of bearing through,

Strengthening and resolving come into view.

Facing challenges with a smile,

Making each effort truly worthwhile.

Balls of courage and a steadfast heart,

I play my role, I take my part.

For in this illusion, I find my way,

Grinning and bearing each new day.
