a journeying soul

 


in my moment of the sun 

I shall dance like one

rising in the east

ascending in the west

accepting all styles that make me the best

what book could I be

if you were able to read thee

 thought the boy with a sigh

as he gazed at the stars in the vast midnight sky

 a heart full of dreams and a mind set free

he pondered the stories he wished he could see

 a world of wonder where imagination flies

he let go of his fears and closed his eyes

through the cosmos he soared on wings of thought

to Saturns rings where magic is taught

among the stars in the velvet night

the boy found his courage took flight

past the moon and the milky ways glow

unto saturns face he let his spirit go

saturns rings shimmered like dreams in the air

a celestial dance so beyond compare

the boys heart soared his soul felt light

a realm of wonder into sight

he wandered through the rings with joy and glee

a universe of stories opened to see

each ring a chapter each star a verse

a cosmic adventure the universes purse

 every thought craftly a tale

of galaxies far and comets trail

he danced with asteroids canoodled the stars

 journeyed from the mind beyond earths scars

through nebulae bright and black holes deep

the boys imagination took a leap

in saturns hold he found his song

a melody of dreams where he belonged

he let go of his fears his doubts and woes

in the arms of the cosmos where the stardust flows

a boy who dared to dream and to fly

found his place in the stars in the endless sky

as dawn approached he opened his eyes

with a heart full of wonder to his surprise

the boy had flown to saturn in his mind

a journeying soul forever refine

what book could he be he now knew well

a tale of courage with a story to tell

of letting go and soaring high

to Saturns rings and beyond the sky
