opening eyes I look into sky

high as the sun above me

who am I to be 

in the new day

wondering in mind where I could plant to stay

heavens it seems you are more than a dream

yet how close to Saturn and her rings

or are you further beyond 

my present words in thought they flow

like rivers to the sea they go

in moments still they find their place

a dance in meaning time space

through silent nights quiet days

they speak of love in countless ways

my present words in thought they rise

like early light in dawning skies

a testament to all I feel

to all the dreams I hold as real

my present words in thought they stay

a guiding light along the way

in this moment here and now

with every word I make this vow

to cherish all that life imparts

my thoughts like rivers twist and turn

lessons learned fires burned

in every word a part of me

a glimpse of what the world could be

these thoughts I share with open hand

a compass true a path well planned

for in the now my spirit soars

through present words new worlds explore

in every line a spark a flame

a mirror calling my souls own name

my present words in thought set free

to touch to heal eternally
